Easy but Very Effective Ideas to Help you Lose Weight

Take Short Walks
Just a short 15-30min walk 3 times a week makes a bigger difference to weight loss than what you may think. If you cannot invest time for a leisurely morning walk or an evening stroll, take quick walks wherever possible. Park your car a few blocks away from the destination and then take a walk towards your destination. Even during lunch time, try to walk a few paces in your office.

Use Stairs Instead of the Elevator
Whenever possible take the stairs instead of the elevator. At most, it will cost you an extra 5-10mins of your time. Climbing stairs helps to reduce excess flab, especially stomach fat. Climbing a four storied building twice or thrice a day is an excellent weight loss method.

Ride a Bike
If work is not too far from your home consider riding your bike to work. If not, you can ride a bike for about 10-15 miles on weekends. Riding is not only fun but brilliant for weight loss and toning your legs. Make sure you pack enough water and snacks when going for a long ride.

Join a Gym or Fitness Classes
Joining a gym will ensure that you stick to a strict exercise regimen and have the help of professional instructors for, if not anything else, motivation. Joining a group fitness class such as yoga, can also motivate you for losing more weight. Fitness classes are a great form of exercise and weight loss, as is yoga. Yoga is fantastic for achieving a toned body.

Dance Class
Dancing helps a great deal in reducing weight. Dance forms such as salsa are gaining huge popularity as new quick weight loss techniques. Not only does dancing help to lose your weight, it also tones your body and boosts your confidence. Plus, dancing is so much fun!

Adventure Sports
Spare a weekend for adventure sports such as river rafting, horse riding, scuba diving or bungee jumping and see the difference yourself. Adventure sports require you to exert yourself physically and mentally, thus it results in weight loss.

Walk Your Dog
Walking your dog is a great way to lose weight. Not only is the dog getting its required exercise, but you are getting yours and walking is the best form of exercise for weight loss. Walking your dog daily for an hour or even playing with them is a good weight loss exercise, just make sure you are not exerting your dog too much in your excitement.
